Since January, 2009, Émilie Renault and Ghislain Botto try to understand and to retranscribe the environment of prostitution. Introduced by the Association Fleur de Pavé in Lausanne, they meet prostitute. They accompany them discreetly, they draw, photograph and collect testimonies. Six drawing books and six photographic books (for the moment, two of every) are dedicated to these women who deliver us their history. The precise, almost clinical drawing dissect their living space whereas photos plunge us into the atmosphere of their workplace.
